... and thank you for your interest in the Inner Allies Blueprint, a novel approach to spiritual awakening based on how you sense life as a human. I am W. Andersen, the creator of this approach and the author of the book Inner Allies: The Unexpected Way Your Human Nature Awakens You.
I have been working on this approach to spirituality since 2008, because I had a series of deep inner experiences that changed how I sense myself and the world. I know what I am saying next may sound like an outrageous claim, but being able to sense our being beyond the mind is entirely based on our human nature. There is nothing supernatural about awakening, and it has nothing to do with grace or interventions from higher dimensions or pure spirit.
Our body already exists in oneness with the rest of cosmos. Not the body you see in the mirror, but the body you can sense, the body which experiences life. We may believe we experience life with our mind, but we don’t. We experience life with our entire body, as also neuroscience has proved.
When we learn how our body awareness really functions, we can get access to this level of being. This is the meaning behind mindfulness and being in the moment. Many spiritual teachers tell us that awakening is about being present or aware in the moment. They are right, but what they ignore is that which is already aware - our body. You can touch your nose with your eyes closed because of a sense called body awareness. Body awareness is a sense like hearing or seeing, and when we become able to explore how it facilitates the knowing of ourselves, we will awaken.
I know this is so, because I have helped a dear friend of mine, Nynne, awaken by this method. Her journey showed me beyond a shadow of a doubt that the approach works, which I presented in my book Inner Allies: The Unexpected Way Your Human Nature Awakens You. One Approach: Two Aspects
The Inner Allies Blueprint consists of two inseparable aspects
The first is: UNDERSTANDING HOW YOU EXPERIENCE LIFE. By focusing on how you experience and not what you experience, you will eventually stand face to face with a part of your being that operates outside of your mind. When this happens, it will start to alter your conscious perceptions of your body and the world around you. The deepest aspect you are is the capacity to experience. Align yourself with this and you will experience awakening.
The second is: UNDERSTANDING HOW YOU FUNCTION AS A HUMAN BEING. This aspect gives you access to tools on how to transform your emotional sense of self, which is the part of you that is currently preoccupied with your outer world. By turning your awareness inwards and embracing, on a sensory level, what you experience, you will start to mature your being. This leads to the transformation of how you sense yourself prior to a personal sense of self. This in turn leads to awakening.

ASPECT TWO: THE INNER ALLIES
Central to the Blueprint is the Inner Allies. Inside of us, we have three main forces that we use every day: thinking, feeling and sensing. These three forces are so fundamental that we don't understand how they are actually evolutionary forces that form all living beings. Every being has the capacity to reason, feel, and remember, and in most beings like birds, reptiles, and mammals, the Inner Allies are manifested into thinking, feeling and instinctual memory or automations. ASPECT ONE: THE INNER ALLIES
The key to awakening is understanding how your psyche functions past your mind
The worst condition we suffer from is our disconnect from life. It makes us feel alienated and creates a state of existential separateness that goes beyond our emotions. This state of mind makes us resist life, fight others, and fear life.
We currently believe this state is inevitable, so we feel abandoned or try to fix it by chasing a spiritual salvation called awakening. But awakening is not a remedy and we do not need liberation from life or human existence. New evidence from biology, neuroscience and ancient wisdom traditions, such as Shamanism and Daoism, show us how nature is an ally to our deeper nature and how awakening happens because of human nature, not in spite of it.
Human nature is your teacher, not spirituality. That is just a human invention, a substitute for the real thing which is human life. Not the human life you know from culture, but the human life that flows in your veins. When you gain the skills to understand how you experience, you learn to raise your level of awareness. Sooner or later this process will take over your human perception. Then you will sense your deeper beingness.
The path to self-discovery is truly a middle way, where you do not cling to anything but always stay true to how you experience. Not what you experience, because that is a matter of perspective, but how you experience. This way, you will eventually reach the existential understanding that you are both Human and Being at the same time.
